Plans and prices

Premium

£79a year

or £7.99 a month. Prices include VAT. One plan covers you and your partner.

Free

£0

Free is not a trial: it keeps working, for as long as you have an account.

A year at a time, or as a gift

The one-year pass: £79, paid once. A year of Premium that does not renew, so there is nothing to cancel and nothing more is charged.

A gift year: £79. A year of Premium for another household, as a code they use when they are ready. The year starts when the code is used.

What Free keeps

The pages for the hardest weeks are free on every plan: survivor planning's headline, Safety Net, the estate and Inheritance Tax page, Handover, care and who acts, and the guides for a death, an illness, an income that stops and a separation. So are the tracker, the retirement verdict with the year-by-year projection behind it, the tax deadlines and Tax Explorer.

After a death in the household, the person it passes to has 12 months of Premium at no charge, whatever plan the household had. Nothing needs doing to start it. A subscription of their own can be cancelled in one step at any time in that year, and the last payment is refunded less the days used.

What each plan includes

Free

  • What you own, what you owe, and how it moved
  • When work could become optional, and how long the gap before your pension would be
  • Indicative Income Tax and National Insurance for each of you, and how far you are from the points where tax jumps
  • Whether the money would still work for whoever is left, if one of you died
  • What your family would need to know, and where everything is, if someone had to take over
  • State benefits you might be able to claim
  • An alert on a figure you care about, checked monthly against the figures you enter

Premium

Everything in Free, and:

  • “What if?”: markets fall, you stop earlier, you spend more, across thousands of possible futures
  • Paying into a pension, modelled: your tax, take-home pay and Child Benefit, for an amount you choose
  • An ISA or a pension, set side by side on your own figures
  • The ways of taking tax-free cash from a pension, side by side
  • A trial run: a year living on what the plan says you will have, before you stop
  • An estimate of Inheritance Tax in each of the next ten years, if you kept giving
  • A pack for your accountant: the year’s figures and questions, including any company’s
  • For company owners: salary, dividends and pension contributions compared

Questions

How do I cancel?

Online, at any time, in Settings, then Plan, then Cancel subscription. It takes one step, with no call or email and no notice period. Premium carries on until the end of the period already paid for, and nothing more is charged. The one-year pass and the gift year have nothing to cancel: they end by themselves.

Can I change my mind?

You can change your mind within 14 days of buying and get your money back, less an amount for the days you have used, because the plan starts straight away at your request. The same right applies for 14 days after each yearly renewal. The Terms of Service (section 7) give the detail.

What happens when a plan ends?

Nothing is deleted. The household moves to the Free plan, every figure you entered stays, and you can export all of it at any time. Premium pages lock again, and what you saved in them is back in view if Premium returns.

If a yearly or monthly payment fails, Premium carries on for 14 days while the card is tried again, and a founding price is kept if the payment goes through in that time.

Does my partner pay too?

No. Every household, on every plan, can share a view-only seat with one partner. The partner sees the household at the owner's plan, but it gives them no plan for a household of their own. After a partner seat ends, it can be given to someone else 14 days later.

Will I be told before it renews?

Yes. We email you two reminders before each yearly renewal: the first between 28 and 35 days before, and the second between 7 and 10 days before the renewal date. There is no lifetime deal.

Payments are taken by Stripe on its own secure page. Oxygene never sees your card.
