Oxygene Finance

Terms of Service

Last updated: 30 September 2026

Draft. These terms are being finalised before public launch and may change before they take effect.

The short version. Oxygene Finance is a place to keep track of your household's money and model where it is heading. You type in (or import) your own figures; we store them, do the arithmetic, and show you the results. It is not financial advice, it does not connect to your bank, and it never moves money. Your data is yours: you can export it or close your account whenever you like. There is a free plan and a paid plan, bought on our website.

1. Who we are

Oxygene Finance is provided by Oxygene Group Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number [to be added], registered office [to be added]). In these terms "we", "us" and "our" mean Oxygene Group Ltd, and "you" means the person who holds the account.

You can reach us at daniel@oxygene.xyz.

2. What the service is

Oxygene Finance is a tracker and planner for UK household finances, available on the web at finance.oxygene.xyz and as a mobile app. It lets you record accounts, balances, investments, pensions, property, budgets and the people in your household, and it projects those figures forward — for example, towards retirement.

Some things it deliberately does not do:

Where the service shows market prices, exchange rates or property estimates, those come from third-party public sources. They are there to save you typing and can be late, missing or wrong. Check anything that matters against the original source.

3. Not financial advice — educational information only

Everything Oxygene Finance shows you is educational guidance based on your own figures, not regulated financial advice. It cannot see everything about your circumstances, and rules change. Check anything consequential with a qualified adviser or accountant before acting on it.

In particular:

You are responsible for the decisions you make. If a decision is significant — a pension transfer, a large withdrawal, a property sale, anything with a tax deadline — please take professional advice first.

4. Your account

5. Your data

The financial information you put into Oxygene Finance belongs to you. You give us permission to store it and process it only so we can run the service for you — to save it, calculate with it, back it up, and show it back to you. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or share it except as our Privacy Policy describes.

You can take a complete copy of your data at any time (Settings → Take your data with you), and close your account at any time (Settings → Close your account). The Privacy Policy explains exactly what happens to your data, including in backups, when you do.

If you record details about other people — a partner, children, other family members — you are responsible for doing so reasonably: only what you need to manage your household's finances.

6. Using the service fairly

Please do not:

If an account is being used in a way that puts the service or other people at risk, we may suspend it. Unless the risk is urgent, we will tell you first and give you the chance to explain or to export your data.

7. Plans and payment

Oxygene Finance has a free plan and a premium plan. What each includes is described on our website at the time you sign up or buy. The free plan is free with no time limit; we will not start charging for it without asking you.

Buying premium

Renewals and cancelling

Your right to change your mind

If you are a consumer in the UK, you normally have 14 days from purchase to cancel and get a refund. Because premium is a digital service that starts straight away, if you cancel within those 14 days we may deduct a fair amount for the time you have already used.

If premium ends

If your premium plan ends — because you cancelled, a payment failed, or a fixed term ran out — your account moves to the free plan. Nothing you have entered is deleted. Premium-only pages become unavailable until you buy premium again, and everything you entered is still there when you do. You can export all of it on the free plan.

If we stop offering premium

If we withdraw the premium plan or close the service, we will refund the unused part of any period you have paid for.

8. Availability and backups

We work hard to keep Oxygene Finance running and your data safe, and we take nightly backups. But we cannot promise the service will always be available or free of faults, and we may need to take it offline for maintenance, usually briefly and, where we can, with notice.

Backups exist to recover from failures on our side. They are not a substitute for your own copy: you can export your data at any time, and we encourage you to do so occasionally.

9. Changes to the service and these terms

The service will change as we improve it. If we make a change that materially reduces what you are paying for, you can cancel and receive a refund of the unused part of your current period.

We may update these terms. If a change is significant we will email you at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you do not agree, you can close your account before then. The date at the top of this page shows when the terms last changed.

10. Ending the agreement

11. Our responsibility to you

We provide the service with reasonable care and skill. If we do not, and you lose out as a result, you may be entitled to a remedy under consumer law.

Because Oxygene Finance is educational information and not advice, and because you decide what to do with it, we are not responsible for financial decisions you make using it, or for losses caused by figures you entered, by third-party prices or estimates, or by events outside our reasonable control.

Where we are responsible for a loss, our total liability to you is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the problem arose, or £100.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability where the law does not allow it to be limited — for example, for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud — and nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

12. The law that applies

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts. We would always rather sort a problem out directly first — please get in touch.

How we handle personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy.
